An on-going statewide campaign to recruit speech language pathology
and audiology students into the school setting.
| What: | Presentations and promotional incentives are provided to speech language pathology and audiology undergraduates and graduates across Ohio's colleges and universities and at the annual OSLHA conference promoting school based settings as a career choice. |
| When: | Visits to universities and colleges in autumn; exhibition booth at OSLHA Convention in the spring of each year. |
| Where: | Ten Ohio universities with graduate programs and 2 Ohio colleges with undergraduate only programs. |
| Why: | To promote Ohio schools as a viable work setting and publicize existing employment opportunities in Ohio's schools. |
| Outcomes: | Presentations have been on-going for 10 years to an average of 250 graduate students per year. Undergraduate presentations are provided at 12 universities/colleges. |
