YES District is interested in participation in the SLP Graduate Internship Program. Graduate students may be identified from local region or may be assigned by ODE/OMNIE. Students provide speech language pathology services in a paid internship. District provides $26,000 student support for each year of internship, plus medical and STRS benefits. This program provides district with FOUR continuous years of employment by a licensed SLP, in combination of internship and as a full district employee following graduation. During the past two years the program has provided services in 66 Ohio school districts.
